DEL ALL


The DEL ALL statement deletes all the records from the specified file. This statement can be used the current record from a specified file.

(1) T/F execution conditions
(2) Application ID
(3) File name
(4) Fail action (0=nothing, 1=warning, 2=error, 3 cancel)

Sets True/False Status Indicator

If the all the records in the specified file are deleted successfully the true condtion will be set. If any error was encounter the false conditon will be set.

Using the Statement

You can use this in place of SCRATCH/CREATE commands to accomplish the same results.
